| A: Highly Anti-abrasive Protective Overlay The anti-abrasive overlay consists of millions of aluminium oxide particles per square metre which act as a deterrent against scuffs, scratches and wear. This overlay is rated using an abrasion test. The final rating is returned in an AC Ultilty Class and carries a symbol to represent its residential and commercial suitability. For example: AC3 is considered a heavy residential and light commercial product and carries the following class symbol.
Whereas our 12mm Traffic Zone products are all rated AC5 which are suitable fro use in both heavy residential and commercial areas.
B: Melamine Impregnated Decorative Film The high quality decorative film is the layer that contains the timber design of the fl oor and is impregnated with melamine resin. It is the quality of the layer that determines its colour fastness over time. If a cheaper paper is used the design can fade. C: High Density Hardwood Fibreboard (HDF) The high density wood fi bre board is made from recycled and reclaimed hardwood fibres compressed under high temperature and pressure. Hardwood is naturally resistant against moisture and humidity, making its fibres most suitable to be used as the core material for laminate fl ooring. This is what gives Inovar Floor its Superior Water Resistant qualities. |

Profiled using state of the art patented Valinge Locking System allows quick and easy glueless installation whilst maintaining superior joint strength over time. Inovar Floor is also protected by WaxGuard+®. This process coats the locking mechanism on all four sides of the floorboard with a water repellent for added protection against moisture. An option worth considering is: EcoPlus® Super E0. Any of our products can be manufactured using the EcoPlus® technology. With its negligible formaldehyde emission, it makes Inovar Floor a truly environmentally friendly fl oor covering option. D: Balancing Film for Dimensional Stability The balancing fi lm on the back surface balances up the board to provide good dimensional stability. Also impenetrable by water, this layer acts as another moisture barrier for the floor. E: Silenpro Underlay Another optional feature is SilenPro: Pre-attached EVA Foam with a 1.5mm thickness noise absorption underlay for effective sound reduction.
